Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive,

I make greeting cards and this is the best adhesive I have found. I do have a problem, though. I recently bought a new bottle of this glue and found that a new cover is being used. The tip on the new cap is not as narrow as the original cap. When I went to use it, a big glob of glue came out instead of the this stead stream that came out of the old cap. This is not good when using on paper. The card I was making wrinlked because so much came out. I know there was problems with the old cap clogging up, but I never had that problem. I will use this up because I like the glue and I don't want to waste it, but I might be looking at other tacky glues.
I found out about Scotch Quick Dry Tacky Glue several years ago while attending a scrapbook event in Puerto Rico. I tried it and found that it made my crafting life a whole lot easier. It is quick and doesn't require much but works very quick and well. I have never had to go back and re-glue anything I have used it on. I hightly recommend this project for the frustrated crafter who just doesn't have time to sit and wait for regular glue to dry.
Scotch Tacky Glue is great for adhering chipboard to a scrapbook page. It holds well and dries fast. It's also great for using on altered projects and making chipboard albums. 5 star product!!
I have found that this glue is great for adhering chipboard. When making items with cardstock that are going to be handled and displayed I always reach for my Quick Dry Tacky Glue. The glue does not come out too fast and dries quickly so that you can move along on your projects.
I am an avid scrapbooker and crafter and this is one of the most versitile glues that I have found. I use this is practically every project I complete for 1 reason, it keeps the item glued down. Love the consistency and the price is even better. It isn't expensive so buying it without a coupon isn't bank breaking but with a coupon, oh yeah, stock up!

this is a very good glue for scrapbooking because it drys fast. the only issues many of us have had is that the red piece (nozzle) pops out and then you have glue everywhere, always need to be sure to use the glue over a washable surface and definitely NOT on your project because there is no warning.
I love using this glue for both scrapbooking and cardmakng!! It was recommended by a friend so I gave it a try and am glad I did. It's really easy to use, dries clear, is very fast to try, and has a super strong hold!! I have nothing negative to say, except for one thing, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Two different times with two different bottles, I was trying to squeeze the glue out, and before I knew it, the little lid/stopper flew off and a buch of glue landed all over my project. So, would I recommend this product? Absolutely!!!!! Just be very careful when squeezing the bottle! :-)
I make my own envelopes and note cards using various decorated papers, including vinyl wallpaper that I cut from out-of-date sample books. Decorative strips on the cards are only a quarter of an inch wide. Overlaps on the envelope tabs are a smidge wider. The precision tip on Scotch's Quick Dry Tacky Glue bottle lets me lay down a thin line of adhesive that doesn't squeeze out when surfaces to be bonded are pressed together; it doesn't run. The glue dries quickly, so the work goes fast. The cap is the stand for the bottle, so glue is immediately available at the tip whenever I am ready to use it. This glue sticks my vinyl wallpaper to itself and holds tight; my envelopes don't come apart in the mail anymore. A big plus is that Scoth's Quick Dry Tacky Glue is photo safe. It works well for scrapbooking, too; precise dots of glue make everything permanent with no mess.
It has a fine point, you can even use it for quilling because it sets for quickly!! I was extremely upset when Walmart quit carrying this product...luckily the scrapbook store still carries it, but it is $1.50 more!! It is worth it. I try to get it with a 40% off coupon at Hobby Lobby but they are 45 minutes from my house.
This adhesive is my standby for all my papercrafting projects. It doesn't wrinkle the paper, and it dries fast. This is the perfect adhesive for layering my Cricut projects.
I use this product when making crafts. It works great when you are trying to glue items to a wreath. It also works well on foam sheet and shapes projects. I am a Girl Scout Leader and we do plenty of crafts with the girls. We use this product for many of the projects.
I make personalized paper wrappers for candy, cookies, pretzels, toys, just about anything you can think of. I recently made 1,440 wrappers for a PTO event for the local grade school. When I couldn't find the glue zippers I normally use, I decided to try Scotch Tacky Glue. IT WORKED WONDERFULLY! It was easy to use, dried quickly and made my projects look fantastic. Clean up was a snap! One bottle out did 10 of the zippers so I saved tons of money. I will definetly use this glue on all my future projects. THANKS SCOTCH!!
I make hundreds of cards and other paper art projects each year, selling them at craft fairs. This glue is fabulous for several reasons: It is thick, and stays where you put it, grabs and dries quickly, has a great precise control applicator and the design of the cap so you can keep it upside down so the glue is always ready to apply is just genius. If i designed the best possible glue and applicator, it would be this!
The glue inside the bottle is great. It dries quickly and bonds well. The problem is getting the glue out of the bottle. I have tried two bottles and both bottles had the same problem - the tip clogs every time you use it. The only way I can get the tip cleared is to rod it out with a straight pin. It dries so quickly that you have to rod it out EVERY time you want a bit of glue - even a minute or so later. Save it for embellishments when you don't mind the extra work of clearing the tip. Forget it for regular usage - too frustrating.
